Children’s Ministry is offered year round during our Sunday morning service for children infant-4th grade. Our teaching teams use a wide variety of creative learning methods to communicate God’s Word to children in a way that stimulates their minds and leaves a lasting impression on their hearts.
What Can I Expect?
Infant – Kindergarten are dropped off and picked up in the Learning Center. 1st – 4th grade start in the service with parents and then are dismissed to class. Students have a time of teaching followed by small group time. Our nursery workers provide safe, quality care for infants and toddlers during all church services.
Purpose Program, during Community Nights (Wed 6:30 pm)
From 2 years old through kindergarten this program provides a co-ed experience. In 1st through 6th grade the boys and girls meet separately. The Purpose curriculum focuses children on who God is and introduces them to the fundamental truths of His word. It also allows our teachers to develop mentoring relationships with children in their class. We have worked to integrate missions and service with what the children will be learning each month. Our prayer is that this program will equip the next generation for God’s Purpose in their lives. Nursery care for Infants and toddlers is also available on Wednesday Nights.
Secure Check-in System
At Greentree, we take the security of each child seriously. Our desire is to do everything we can to provide a safe and caring environment for your children while they are in our care. With this is mind, we use a Child Check-In system at each service. This system is designed to provide security for each family as well as make the check-in process smooth and efficient. This system will print a nametag for your child with their information. A pager number unique to each family will be printed on each of your children’s tags. In the event that a parent is needed, your family’s pager number will appear on the screen in the church auditorium. Child Check-In centralizes check in for your entire family. You can check-in your entire family at the same time and location. In addition to the check-in system, we have a Child Protection Policy designed to protect both children and workers.
