Greentree's STAMP ministry is part of our response to Jesus' Great Commission to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. Through these short term trips we want to encourage and assist Greentree supported missionaries and to develop a greater personal partnership with them in their ministries.
Participation Requirements
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old. Minors,16 or 17 years old, may travel with a parent on the team.
- Applicant must be a professing believer and a regular attendee of their church.
- Applicant must have a current U.S. passport, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Each interested applicant must fill out the online application.
- Greentree pastors and trip leaders will review applications and reach out to applicants to confirm team placement.
After your application has been approved, you will need to submit a $150 non-refundable deposit in order to be added to the team. This deposit will be applied to the overall cost of the trip. Registration is limited for all trips.
Preliminary Questionaaire
QUESTIONS to ask yourself...
We are not looking for perfect people. However, we do want you and everyone involved with the trip to be personally effective and to have an encouraging ministry experience. We have therefore provided this questionnaire as a personal analysis for you. (You may want to discuss these with one of the pastors.) Honesty is a must. Choose 1-5 with 1 being the lowest or that with with you least agree, and 5 being the highest or that with which you most firmly agree. People who find their answers falling between 3-5 to the majority of these questions will be more likely to have a positive missions experience.
If you are in agreement with WHAT GREENTREE BELIEVES and have marked between 3-5 to most of the following questions, please continue on and complete the application. This helps us get to know you and how best to advise you. Husbands and wives must complete separate applications.
Please note: The Leadership of Greentree Church reserves the right to decline acceptance or defer participation in the STAMP Ministry should an applicant be experiencing spiritual, relational or counseling concerns at any time during the application or preparation process.
